How did you carve these stones?
All by hand with the aid of special sand carving tools. Please see About Stones for details.
Where can I buy tools and stones and how did you digitize the image?
We are planning to offer stone carving classes in the future. Please check back later, if you are interested.
Did you paint or polish these stones?
No. All stones on our display are finest river rocks from all over the United States. They are naturally beautiful just the way they are. If necessary, we only apply a touch of fill-in color to enhance the effect of engraving.
Can you engrave other languages?
Yes, we can engrave any language if you can convert the text into JPEG file
or just let us do it for you for a small fee..
Can I choose stone color?
Although we can’t guarantee the availability, we will make every effort to match your preference.
How do I remove the sticker’s glue?
Blot the spot with cooking oil until the residue loosens. Rubbing alcohol is
also very effective.
Can you engrave on the stone I bring to you?
Yes, as long as the stone is engravable and costs no more than $5.
What are the dark stains on some rocks?
All our stones have been thoroughly cleaned. The “stains” on some stones are natural mineral deposits formed over millions of years. They are part of the unique personality of each stone, just like human beings. We all have some kind of natural “imperfection” don’t we?
